Kerwa TourPart 4: Binding the swallowsOn Friday evening, the swallows are bound in front ofthe stage.
"Swallows" is the name for the long wooden sticks which are used for setting up the parish fair tree.
In order to set up the parish fair tree, the "Kerwasburschen" normally nbeed four couples of swallows with different lengths.
During binding the swallows, always two swallows are bound together with a strong rope. |  |
